Overnights: Star Plus & Star Gold dominate on Sunday

‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on Star Plus

Star Plus continued to lead over its rivals overall in Sunday UK ratings, while Star Gold dominated the movie genre with a number of blockbuster movie titles.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was the biggest show with 115,900 viewers – peaking at 159,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 114,700 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 101,200 viewers. ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’ remained stable with 54,800 viewers, while Urdu drama ‘Mera Naam Yousuf Hai’ dipped slightly to 26,500 viewers at 22:00. ‘On Air with AIB’ at 23:00 was watched by 1,000 viewers.

On Star Gold, movie ‘Singham Returns’ at 15:40 was watched by 39,100 viewers, followed by the premiere of ‘Drishyam’ at 12:30 with 36,300 viewers. The latter repeat of the movie at 20:00 was watched by 26,200 viewers. ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ at 18:10 managed to garner 25,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 9’ returned to the top with 73,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ with 48,800 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 20:00 with 41,300 viewers. ‘Naagin’ at 19:00 raked in 38,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ at 20:30 topped ratings with 23,200 viewers, followed by ‘Nail Polish’ at 19:30 with 16,100 viewers

On Hum TV, ‘Dastaan’ remained top weekend show on the channel with 69,600 viewers, followed by ‘Kaisay Tum Say Kahoon’ at 20:00 with 52,500 viewers and ‘Kitna Sataty Ho’ at 22:00 with 32,500 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ at 19:30 was top with 28,500 viewers, followed by ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ at 20:00 with 7,800 viewers and ‘Bashar Momin’ at 22:00 with 4,900 viewers.

On SAB TV, ‘Krrish 3’ took lead with 18,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ movie at 15:30 with 4,900 viewers and ‘Krrish’ at 09:30 with 1,500 viewers.

On DM Global, movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ at 21:30 with 4,300 viewers.

On &TV, movie ‘Baazigar’ at 15:30 did well with 31,200 viewers, followed by ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 with 19,200 viewers and ‘Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi’ at 19:00 with 11,000 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Look Who’s Talking’ at 19:30 topped ratings with 7,100 viewers, followed by ‘Bollywood Families’ at 19:00 with 6,500 viewers and ‘Kifayati Kitchen’ at 18:30 with 5,200 viewers. ‘The Film Show’ at 20:00 attracted 1,700 viewers.
