Overnights: Star Plus & Sony MAX lead on Sunday in UK

Star Plus displayed a stronger performance on Sunday – better than previous Sunday ratings of late, while Sony MAX ruled the movie genre, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.11%, with movie ‘Guest In London’ at 17:00 topping the genre with 40,000 viewers, followed by ‘Dance Champions’ at 21:00 with 34,500 viewers and ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ at 20:00 with 32,900 viewers.

Colors’ biggest show was ‘Bigg Boss 11’ with 71,100 viewers at 21:00. The channel clocked up a share of 0.06%.

Sony Entertainment Television’s share stood at 0.02%. Its top shows were ‘Super Dancer’ at 20:00 with 16,600 viewers and ‘The Drama Company’ at 21:00 with 7,700 viewers.

ZEE TV’s share stood at 0.01%, with movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ at 13:30 attracting 3,400 viewers and ‘Dance India Dance’ at 20:30 with 2,600 viewers.

Hum TV’s top show on Sunday was ‘La Hasil’ at 21:00 with 27,300 viewers, followed by ‘Tumhari Maryum’ at 20:00 with 14,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Mubarak Ho Rishta Aaya Hai’ at 19:00 led with 7,500 viewers.

Sony MAX was biggest Hindi movie channel in UK on Sunday with a share of 0.07%. Its top movie was the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Chamatkar’ with 26,300 viewers at 13:30. Star Gold registered 0.05%, ZEE Cinema with 0.04%, B4U Movies with 0.03% and Rishtey Cineplex with 0.02%.
