Overnights: Star Plus slides but stays top; Sony TV stays strong at No.2

Star Plus remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Tuesday, despite a drop in its share, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share was at 0.16% – down from 0.24% on Monday. Its top attractions on Tuesday were ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 66,300 viewers, followed by ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 65,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 65,100 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 21:00 with 62,300 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 58,300 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 36,100 viewers and ‘Nazar’ at 21:30 with 17,500 viewers.

Sony TV was in second position with a share of 0.09% – down from 0.10%. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 was the top show with 41,200 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 29,800 viewers and new show ‘Maaye’ at 20:30 was watched by 18,500 viewers.

PTC Punjabi and Prime TV registered a share of 0.04%, while Colors and ZEE TV raked in a share of 0.03%. ‘Bepannaah’ was Colors’ top show with 20,700 viewers at 08:00 (repeat), followed by ‘Savitri Devi’ at 19:00 with 12,000 viewers. On ZEE TV, ‘Kaleerein’ topped ratings with 33,900 viewers, followed by the ZEE News bulletin at 17:00 pulled in 19,800 viewers.

Hum TV was the most watched Urdu entertainment channel with a share of 0.03%. Its top shows were ‘Sadqay Tumharay’ at 21:00 with 16,600 viewers, followed by ‘Main Haar Nahi Maanungi’ at 22:00 with 12,400 viewers.

Sony MAX was the top movie channel with a share of 0.05%. Its top film was ‘Sindoor’ at 14:00 with 18,600 viewers.
