Overnights: Star Plus scores rare Sunday victory in UK

After a troubled few Sundays, Star Plus came out victorious in UK ratings yesterday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

While Star Plus does well on other days of the week, Sundays is the least watched day for the broadcaster. However, exclusive data for Sunday 8th November put Star Plus at No.1, along with Colors. Both channels delivered a share of 0.10%. They were followed by Sony TV with 0.08%, ZEE Cinema with 0.05%, ZEE TV, Republic Bharat, Colors Rishtey and Sony MAX 2 with 0.04%, Dunya News, Foodxp and B4U Movies with 0.03%, Geo TV, New Vision TV, Sony SAB TV, PTC Punjabi, Star Bharat and Star Gold with 0.02%. Hum TV dropped to 0.01%.

Star Plus’ top attractions on Sunday were ‘Sanjeev Kapoor’s Kitchen’ at midday with 30,100 viewers, ‘Mummy Ka Magic’ at 12:30 with 28,100 viewers, movie ‘Golmaal Again’ at 20:00 with 20,500 viewers and movie ‘Pink’ at 23:00 with 17,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ was top show with 52,800 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 30,600 viewers and ‘Bigg Boss 14’ repeat at 17:00 with 18,500 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘India’s Best Dancer’ was the most watched show in UK on Sunday with an audience of 68,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 24,100 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, movie premiere of ‘Bharat’ starring Salman Khan led with 22,500 viewers, while its premiere on ZEE TV pulled in 9,800 viewers at 21:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Malaal’ was top show with 6,900 viewers at 21:00.
