Overnights: Star Plus & Rishtey climb back up

Star Plus and Rishtey showed signs of recovery last night in the UK Asian TV ratings after days of shedding viewers.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, Star Plus’ top rated show was ‘Saathiya’ with 134,700 viewers – peaking at 166,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ with 122,500 viewers, ‘Veera’ with 116,800 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ in fourth with 115,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Madhubala’ at 20:30 rated zero and was the only show during primetime on the channel to underperform. The most watched show was ‘BeIntehaa’ repeat at 19:00 with 31,700 viewers, ‘Uttaran’ with 18,700 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and ‘Rangrasiya’ in third with 15,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Parichay’ repeat at 22:00 was top with 54,900 viewers, while the original earlier at 20:00 raked in 44,100 viewers and ‘Meri Aashiqui’ was next with 32,700 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 20,200 viewers, followed by ‘Nadaan Parinde’ at 21:00 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Baawre’ at 22:00 with 15,600 viewers.

On Hum Europe, the top show on the channel was ‘Janam Jali’ at 21:30 with 23,000 viewers, followed by the repeat episode of ‘Bhool’ at 13:30 recorded 17,500 viewers and ‘Main Na Manu Haar’ at 22:30 with 7,900 viewers. The main primetime strand between 18:00 – 21:30 during its Ramadan programming, the channel rated zero.
