Overnights: Star Plus returns to No.1 in lacklustre Saturday UK ratings

Star Plus bounced back to the No.1 position in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel had slipped to No.2 on Friday, being beaten by Hum TV. However, on Saturday, Star Plus was back on top with a share of 0.08%. The channel’s top performers included ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 95,100 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 44,500 viewers. Premiere of ‘Aiyaary’ at 21:00 was watched by 11,200 viewers.

Hum TV and Hum Masala followed next with a share of 0.05% and 0.03% respectively. Hum TV’s top shows were ‘Rehai’ at 21:30 with 55,600 viewers and ‘Iftaar Package’ at 21:00 with 26,600 viewers.

Geo TV fetched a share of 0.04% with ‘Iftaar Transmission’ averaging with 15,000 viewers.

ZEE TV’s share stood at 0.02%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television and Colors with 0.01%.

New Vision TV remained the most watched South Asian News channel with a share of 0.03%.
