Overnights: Star Plus remains in pole position; Hum Masala at No.2

Star Plus remained the UK’s top Asian TV channel on Friday, while Hum Masala climbed back up to No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.16% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on top. It was watched by 120,300 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 70,900 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 69,800 viewers. ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’ at 22:00 fetched 53,700 viewers. ‘Ishqbaaaz’ was the least watched show during primetime on the channel with 19,900 viewers tuning in.

Hum Masala raked in a share of 0.09%. Its top shows were ‘Handi’ at 10:00 with 29,500 viewers, followed by ‘Tarka’ at 20:00 with 23,400 viewers and ‘Mehboob’s Kitchen’ at 11:00 with 23,100 viewers.

Colors attracted a share of 0.05% with ‘Bigg Boss 11’ leading. It pulled in 62,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 21,200 viewers and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 22:30 with 12,400 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television delivered a share of 0.04% with ‘Mere Sai’ on top at 19:30 with 29,500 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ at 22:30 with 22,200 viewers and ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ at 22:00 with 20,900 viewers.

Hum TV also delivered a share of 0.04% with ‘Parchhayi’ at 21:00 pulling in 39,500 viewers, followed by ‘Oh Rungreza’ repeat at 17:00 with 11,200 viewers.

ZEE TV’s share stood at 0.03% with ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ re-run at 22:00 leading with 23,800 viewers, followed by ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 21:30 with 6,500 viewers.

Geo TV also raked in a share of 0.03% with ‘Aik Thi Rania’ at 20:00 pulling in 10,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ghar Titli Ka Par’ at 11:30 with 8,900 viewers.
