Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian entertainment channel on Friday, while Prime TV stayed strong at No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ share stood at 0.17% with ‘Naamkarann’ returning on top with 81,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 81,600 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 66,700 viewers.

The ongoing Pakistan Super League continued to give Prime TV a surge in its ratings. Its share stood at 0.08%, with an average of over 25,000 viewers tuning over the two matches between 11:00 and 20:00. In comparison, Hum Masala, the second broadcaster of the PSL 2018 in UK, managed a share of 0.06%.

Hum TV also increased its share to 0.06%. The channel’s most watched show on Friday was ‘Parchhayi’ at 21:00 with 29,000 viewers, followed by ‘Zun Mareed’ at 20:00 with 22,900 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television attracted a share of 0.04%, ZEE TV with 0.03% and Colors with 0.02%.
