Overnights: Star Plus packs in a punch with Saturday afternoon fictions

Star Plus surged ahead in Saturday afternoon ratings in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

‘Meri Durga’ was the biggest show of the afternoon with 72,600 viewers at 12:30 – peaking at 89,400 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 13:00 with 51,400 viewers and ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’ at 14:00 with 28,500 viewers. The channel’s evening schedule also proved a success with ‘Mere Angne Mein’ topping ratings. It was watched by 109,800 viewers at 18:00 – peaking at 158,100 viewers, followed by ‘Dance+ 3’ at 20:00 with 75,800 viewers and ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ repeat at 18:30 with 71,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘IIFA Flashback’ at 17:00 fetched 7,600 viewers, followed by the finale episode of ‘India Banega Manch’ at 21:00 with 6,000 viewers and ‘Chhote Miyan’ at 22:30 with 2,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ was the biggest watched show on the channel with 21,300 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ at 19:00 with 7,700 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 7,600 viewers.

On &TV, movie ‘Happy New Year’ at 16:00 delivered 18,700 viewers, followed by ‘Hoshiyaar’ at 22:00 with 4,100 viewers and ‘Krishna’ repeat at 15:00 with 3,600 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, movie ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’ at 15:05 was watched by 8,200 viewers, followed by ‘Fanaa’ at 11:30 and ‘Dhoom 3’ at 18:20 both with 7,800 viewers and ‘Dostana’ at 22:00 with 4,200 viewers.

On Rishtey Cineplex, ‘Cocktail’ at 23:00 pulled in 8,500 viewers, followed by ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ at 19:00 with 7,000 viewers and ‘Chalte Chalte’ at 12:25 with 4,800 viewers.
