Overnights: Star Plus loses share on Friday; Sony TV inches closer

In a rather disappointing week in UK ratings for Star Plus, the channel’s share continued to dwindle, while Sony Entertainment Television braced itself to overtake the long-running leader, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold registered a share of 0.03% and Star Bharat with 0.2%. Hum TV slipped outside the Top 10 with a share of also 0.02%.

Star Plus’ top rated shows on Friday were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 53,400 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 36,900 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 36,400 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 26,400 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 17,800 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 15,400 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 13,100 viewers. ‘Nazar’ attracted 11,300 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ topped ratings with 38,300 viewers at 23:00, followed by ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 with 17,200 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 13,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Silsila’ led with 37,100 viewers, followed by ‘Bigg Boss 12’ with 23,600 viewers. ‘Bigg Boss 12’ repeat at 17:00 was watched by 24,300 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ recorded its highest UK rating with 50,700 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Kaleerein’ at 18:00 with 23,500 viewers and ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 19:00 with 19,700 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Padman’ was watched by 14,800 viewers at 18:00.

On Geo TV, ‘Rubaru Ishq Tha’ pulled in 12,100 viewers at 17:00.

On Hum TV, ‘Band Khirkiyan’ fetched 15,300 viewers at 21:00.
