Overnights: Star Plus leaps ahead on Monday despite ‘KBC 12’ launch

Star Plus jumped ahead of rival channels on Monday with ‘Anupamaa’ whizzing pass the 100k mark, despite the launch of ‘KBC 12′, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus stood in front with a share of 0.17%, followed by Sony TV with 0.10%, Sony MAX with 0.06%, Colors, NDTV 24×7 and New Vision TV with 0.05%, ZEE TV, Colors Rishtey, Republic Bharat and Geo TV with 0.04%, ZEE Cinema, Colors Cineplex, B4U Music, Venus TV and Geo News with 0.03%, Hum TV, ARY Family, Sony MAX 2, Samaa TV, B4U Movies, Aaj Tak, Star Gold and Star Bharat with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ top attractions were ‘Anupamaa’ with an overwhelming 109,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 70,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 53,400 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 47,600 viewers, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 18:30 with 47,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 46,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 22,200 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 12,500 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘KBC 12’ opened up with 33,500 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 41,200 viewers. However, the channel’s top show was ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 22:30 with 50,800 viewers, followed by ‘Indiawaali Ma’ at 20:30 with 35,700 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 28,700 viewers. See data here.

On Sony MAX, ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’ led with 8,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Mohabbatein’ at 15:45 with 6,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ was watched by 31,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Shubharambh’ at 20:30 with 18,900 viewers and ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ at 21:00 with 13,900 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Barrister Babu’ led with 22,800 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Rasoi Show’ at 16:30 with 13,800 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Partner’ delivered 11,300 viewers at 15:00, followed by ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 20:30 with 7,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Dulhan’ pulled in 20,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Karb’ at 21:00 with 17,300 viewers.

On ARY Family, ‘Nand’ was watched by 7,100 viewers at 19:00.
