Overnights: Star Plus leaps ahead with ‘Kullfi’ & ‘YRKKH’

Star Plus had another good day in UK ratings this week with a bigger share than usual, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The Top 10 most watched Asian TV channels in UK on Thursday:

1. Star Plus – 0.28% (Share)
2. Sony TV – 0.07% (Share)
3. New Vision TV – 0.05% (Share)
4. Geo News – 0.05% (Share)
5. Star Bharat – 0.05% (Share)
6. Geo TV – 0.04% (Share)
7. ZEE Cinema – 0.04% (Share)
8. Rishtey – 0.04% (Share)
9. Hum TV – 0.03% (Share)
10. Hum Masala – 0.03% (Share)

ZEE TV and Colors were outside the Top with a share of 0.02%.

The Top 10 most watched Asian TV shows (non-news) in UK on Thursday:

1. Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala – 131,700 viewers
2. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai – 100,200 viewers
3. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein – 87,300 viewers
4. Ishqbaaaz – 78,600 viewers
5. Krishna Chali London – 61,100 viewers
6. Mariam Khan – 50,200 viewers
7. Winter Sun – 40,400 viewers
8. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Repeat) – 34,800 viewers
9. Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Yeh – 30,300 viewers
10. Crime Patrol – 21,800 viewers

Star Plus dominated UK ratings on Thursday by occupying nine slots out of the Top 10. ‘Crime Patrol’ from Sony TV was the only other show to round-off the Top 10 list. Sony TV’s other attractions were ‘Mere Sai’ with 18,300 viewers at 19:00 and ‘Porus’ at 20:30 with 11,400 viewers.

Star Bharat’s recently launched show ‘Papa By Chance’ was top pick with 20,800 viewers for its repeat at 18:00, followed by ‘Jiji Maa’ with 14,000 viewers and ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ with 13,200 viewers.

Geo TV’s ‘Ghar Titli Ka Par’ was top show with 19,300 viewers at 20:00, while ‘Sadqay Tumharay’ at 21:00 pulled in 14,900 viewers on Hum TV.

‘Henna’ on ZEE Cinema was biggest film with 12,900 viewers tuning in at 09:00.
