Overnights: Star Plus leads on Sunday; B4U Movies at No.2
Star Plus’ weekend woes continued in lower than usual ratings for the channel on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The channel delivered a share of 0.09% with ‘India’s Next Superstars’ drawing in 28,400 viewers, followed by movie ‘Sholay’ at 15:00 with 22,200 viewers and ‘TED Talks India’ at 19:00 with 17,600 viewers.
B4U Movies impressed at No.2 with 0.07% share. Its top films on Sunday were ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’ at 17:45 with 24,700 viewers, followed by ‘Dharti’ at 15:15 with 12,600 viewers and ‘Super Nani’ at 21:15 with 7,500 viewers.
Sony MAX delivered a share of 0.06% with ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ at 16:45 pulling in 21,100 viewers.
Hum TV’s share also stood steady at 0.06% with ‘Tumhari Maryum’ at 20:00 pulling in 56,600 viewers, followed by ‘Nurpur Ki Rani’ at 21:00 with 47,600 viewers.
Star Gold also did well with a share of 0.05%. Its top rated films were ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kenha’ at 17:15 with 13,100 viewers, followed by ‘Golmaal Again’ premiere at 21:00 with just 5,500 viewers. IPL Player Auction earlier in the day attracted an average 4,700 viewers at 09:00.
Sony Entertainment Television fetched a share of 0.03% with ‘CID’ bringing in 20,000 viewers to the channel at 16:00, followed by ‘Super Dancer’ at 20:00 with 12,000 viewers.
&TV & Colors pulled in a share of 0.03%. ZEE TV was down to 0.01%.
