Overnights: Star Plus leads; Sony channels rise on Friday

Star Plus remained the UK’s top Asian TV channel on Friday, while the two flagship Sony channels strengthened, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share stood at 0.20% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 leading with 103,300 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 89,900 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 76,800 viewers.

Hum TV was in second place with a share of 0.6%. Its top rated shows were ‘Parchhayi’ at 21:00 with 53,200 viewers, followed by ‘Oh Rungreza’ at 20:00 with 15,500 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television, Sony MAX and Geo TV all raked in a share of 0.05%. Sony TV impressed with ‘Mere Sai’ leading with 28,900 viewers. Sony MAX’s top film was ‘Fanaa’ at 13:45 with 14,900 viewers and ‘Aik Thi Rania’ led Geo TV with 17,600 viewers at midnight.

ZEE TV, Colors and ARY Family all raked in a share of 0.02%.
