Overnights: Star Plus leads on an abysmal Thursday for Asian TV channels in UK

Asian TV channels suffered a major decline in share on Thursday, while Star Plus led UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.08%, followed by Colors with 0.07%, Sony Entertainment Television and Hum TV with 0.06%, New Vision TV and Dunya News with 0.05%, Star Gold with 0.04%, Geo TV and Venus TV with 0.03%, Star Bharat, Sony MAX 2, Sony SAB TV, NDTV 24×7 and Geo News with 0.02%, ZEE TV with 0.01%.

Star Plus’ top attractions on Thursday were ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 32,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 30,900 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 28,600 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 25,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 24,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:30 with 22,500 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 19,100 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 11,900 viewers and ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 7,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ topped ratings with 46,100 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Bahu Begum’ at 21:00 with 9,300 viewers and ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 6,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Sai’ was watched by 37,000 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 21,000 viewers and ‘Tara From Satara’ at 19:30 with 14,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kun Faya Kun’ led with 34,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kahi Unkahi’ at 21:00 with 20,100 viewers and ‘Malaal-e-Yaar’ at 22:00 with 16,300 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ attracted 15,600 viewers at 18:30.
