Overnights: Star Plus & Hum TV reign on Saturday in UK

Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel across all genres, while Hum TV was placed at No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus registered a share of 0.11% with ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ climbing up the ranks with 36,900 viewers tuning in at 20:00, followed by weekend catch up episodes of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 18:30 with 32,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 30,500 viewers.

Hum TV’s share was at 0.09% with ‘Dastaan’ pulling in 43,300 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Main Khayal Hun Kisi Aur Ka’ at 20:00 with 39,500 viewers and ‘The Afternoon Show’ at 19:00 with 27,400 viewers.

Colors was also up with a share of 0.08%. The channel’s top performers were ‘Dance Deewane’ at 21:00 with 39,000 viewers, followed by ‘IIFA Curtin Raiser’ at 19:00 with 25,500 viewers and ‘IIFA Rocks’ repeat at 17:00 with 11,200 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television clocked up a share of 0.07% with ‘Indian Idol’ attracting 31,300 viewers.

Star Bharat also did well with a share of 0.06%. ‘Musakaan’ at 21:30 fetched 25,400 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 18,100 viewers.

ZEE TV’s share was at 0.05% with ‘America’s Smartest Family’ pulling in 20,400 viewers and ‘Fukrey Returns’ raking in 15,600 viewers.
