Overnights: Star Plus & Hum TV lead Wednesday in UK

It was a victorious night for both Star Plus and Hum TV in UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

While, Star Plus dominated the 19:00 slot with ‘Saathiya at 19:00 (111,800 viewers) and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 (145,300 viewers), old favourite ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 22:30 was back in the reckoning at 22:30 with 86,700 viewers and ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ at 22:00 with 84,700 viewers.

However, Hum TV, remained the leading choice between 20:00 and 22:00 with ‘Qaid-e-Tanhai’ at 21:00 bringing in 76,600 viewers to the channel and ‘Alvida’ at 20:00 raking in 40,200 viewers. ‘Muqadas’ at 22:00 also did well with 58,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Shastri Sisters’ led with 50,000 viewers, followed by ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 39,600 viewers and ‘Udaan’ at 20:00 in third with 27,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ continued to lead with 53,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 19:30 with 37,400 viewers and ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 34,200 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ was back on top with 33,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Badii Devrani’ at 21:30 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 11,000 viewers.
