Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel on Friday, with Hum TV not far behind, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ share stayed steady at 0.23% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 108,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 99,600 viewers, ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 18:30 with 72,600 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 68,400 viewers.

Hum TV was placed at No.2 with a share of 0.13%. ‘Adhan-e-Isha’ attracted 61,100 viewers, followed by ‘Parchhayi’ with 41,700 viewers at 22:45, ‘Kankar’ at 21:30 with 41,300 viewers and ‘Chand Pe Dastak’ with 34,500 viewers.

New Vision TV also stayed the strongest South Asian news channel with a share of 0.06%. Sony Entertainment Television rose to No.4 with a share of 0.05%.

Star Bharat and ZEE TV shared the next slot with a 0.04% share, while Colors remained low with 0.01%.
