Overnights: Star Plus grows further; Sony MAX at No.2 in UK

Star Plus continued to grow in terms of share in Wednesday’s UK ratings, while Sony MAX equipped with live cricket, took the No.2 slot, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ all-day share stood at 0.29%, while No.2 channel Sony MAX notched up 0.11%. Looking at the biggest shows on each channel, Star Plus dominated with ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 with 110,700 viewers, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ with 98,300 viewers at 21:00, ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ at 20:00 with 94,600 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 93,700 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’ at 13:00 with 31,500 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Durga’ at 12:30 with 29,000 viewers and ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ at 14:00 with 17,300 viewers.

On Sony MAX, India and Sri Lanka’s Twenty20 match was watched by 24,000 viewers at 14:00 – peaking at 49,200 viewers, followed by ‘Wazir at 20:00 with 12,100 viewers and ‘Anurag’ at 08:00 with 6,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Shakti’ topped ratings with 18,300 viewers, followed by ‘Udann’ and ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ both with 13,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Piyaa Albela’ drew in 8,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Woh Apna Sa’ at 19:30 with 7,100 viewers and ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey’ at 22:00 with 5,700 viewers.
