Overnights: Star Plus flies high on Tuesday in UK; Sony TV moves to No.2

Star Plus stayed strong in UK ratings on Tuesday, while Sony Entertainment Television and Rishtey moved up to No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.25%, which was five times more than its No.2 rivals, Sony Entertainment Television and Rishtey. Both channels raked in a share of 0.05%.

‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on Star Plus remained the biggest show in the UK with 159,300 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 107,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 90,000 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television’s top picks on Tuesday were ‘Crime Patrol’ repeat at 13:00 with 29,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 25,900 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 14:00 with 21,000 viewers.

Hum TV was in third with a share of 0.04%. The channel’s top shows were ‘Mere Meherbaan’ at 21:00 with 24,100 viewers, followed by ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 13,800 viewers.

Geo TV was next with a share of 0.03% with ‘Mujhe Kuch Kenha Hai’ at 18:00 pulling in 12,800 viewers, followed by ‘Mera Haq’ at 19:00 with 12,700 viewers.

Colors attracted a share of 0.02% with ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 in pole position with 17,800 viewers.

ZEE TV slumped to 0.01%.
