Overnights: Star Plus extends lead again in UK on Thursday

Star Plus extended its lead again over rival channels on Thursday in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel delivered a share of 0.30%, more than three times the share of its second placed rival, Hum TV with 0.09% and Hum Masala with 0.03%.

Star Plus had a good night yesterday with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ back on top. The show attracted 133,000 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 121,200 viewers, ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 20:00 with 114,800 viewers and ‘Ikkyawann’ at 20:30 with 106,200 viewers. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ did well also with 102,200 viewers at 18:00.

Hum TV’s top show on Thursday was ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 38,900 viewers, followed by ‘Daldal’ at 20:00 with 34,800 viewers and ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 34,200 viewers.

Colors stayed strong with ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00, which raked in 60,800 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 16,300 viewers and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 22:00 with 13,600 viewers.

Geo TV also stayed as a popular choice with a share of 0.05%. The channel’s top choice on Thursday was ‘Geo Subh-e-Pakistan’ at 09:00 with 17,300 viewers, followed by ‘Hina Ki Khushboo’ at 17:00 with 10,900 viewers and ‘Bedardi Saiyan’ at 21:00 with 9,800 viewers.

Star Bharat did well, while Sony Entertainment Television and ZEE TV were behind. See the ratings here for these channels.
