Overnights: Star Plus extends lead over rivals on Friday in UK

After a turbulent week in UK ratings, Star Plus extended its lead over rival channels on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus registered a share of 0.19% – making it the most watched Asian channel in the UK. Its top rated shows were ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 88,600 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 87,900 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 73,500 viewers.

Hum TV delivered a share of 0.07% with ‘Parchhayi’ at 21:00 with 33,500 viewers, followed by ‘Oh Rungreza’ at 20:00 with 32,600 viewers and ‘Oh Rungreza’ repeat at midnight with 14,900 viewers.

Geo TV fetched a share of 0.04% with ‘Mubarak Ho Rishta Naya’ at 17:30 pulled in 12,100 viewers, followed by ‘Adhoora Bandhan’ at 19:00 and ‘Aik Thi Rania’ at 20:00 with 11,800 viewers each.

ZEE TV also was up with its share increasing to 0.04% with ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’ repeat at 13:00 with 22,000 viewers, followed by ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey’ at 22:00 with 20,400 viewers, followed by ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 21:30 with 15,500 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television and Colors stood with a share of 0.03%.
