Overnights: Star Plus excels on Tuesday; ‘Naamkarann’ leads

Star Plus continued to rise in UK ratings on Tuesday, with ‘Naamkarann’ returning to No.1 after a few quiet weeks, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel registered a share of 0.32%, with ‘Naamkarann’ clinching back the lead. The show, which airs at 21:00 raked in 137,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 127,900 viewers, ‘Ikkyawann’ at 20:30 with 108,200 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 101,100 viewers.

Hum TV was in second place with a share of 0.09%. The channel’s most watched show was ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 41,100 viewers, followed by ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 31,900 viewers and ‘Gumrah’ at 22:00 with 30,100 viewers.

Colors registered a share of 0.06% with ‘Bigg Boss 11’ emerging as the winner again. It was watched by 63,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 19:00 with 21,300 viewers and ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 11,700 viewers.

Geo TV also did well with a share of 0.06%, with ‘Hari Hari Chooriyan’ at 15:00 pulling in 41,200 viewers, followed by ‘Adhoora Bandan’ at 22:00 with 18,300 viewers and ‘Rani’ at 21:00 with 15,700 viewers.

On Sony Entertainment Television, ‘Meri Sai’ continued to climb with 49,900 viewers at 19:30. ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ at 22:30 was watched by 17,100 viewers. The channel clocked up a share of 0.05%.

ZEE TV remained at 0.02% share with ‘Piyaa Albela’ repeat at 14:30 with 13,300 viewers and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ repeat at 15:00 with 13,000 viewers. The channel’s primetime band suffered with only ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 21:30 raking in 4,700 viewers.

ZEE Cinema led the movie genre with ‘Banjo’ pulling in 9,200 viewers at 15:00.
