Overnights: Star Plus delivers best Sunday figures in UK after a long period

Star Plus delivered its biggest audience figures for a Sunday after a long period, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The broadcaster, which has regularly been overshadowed by rivals on Sundays, stomped out its opposition yesterday with an impressive share of 0.17%. Its share was bigger than all of its rivals, including PTC Punjabi, which surged to No.2 with 0.10%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.07%, Colors with 0.04%, Star Bharat and ZEE TV with 0.03%. Geo TV and Hum TV’s share was at 0.02%.

Star Plus’ ‘Dance+ 4’ featuring Madhuri Dixit, got the highest ratings of the current series with 83,000 viewers – peaking at 107,700 viewers. ‘Badhaai Ho’ at 16:30 attracted a huge 39,100 viewers and ‘Koffee With Karan’ at 19:00 featuring Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar with 20,400 viewers. ‘Kanpur Waale Khuranas’ at 22:00 dropped to 5,200 viewers.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions on Sunday were ‘Super Dancer – Chapter 3’ with 39,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 22,500 viewers and the repeat of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 18:30 with 14,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 delivered 29,200 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 11:00 with 7,200 viewers and repeat of ‘Silsila’ at 12:30 with 4,200 viewers.

On Star Bharat, ‘Savdhaan India’ repeat at 15:00 led with 9,800 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ at 00:15 with 9,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Zidd’ was watched by 11,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tajeed-e-Wafa’ at 20:00 with 6,900 viewers and repeat of ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ at 22:00 with 5,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘The Shareef Show’ at 19:00 was watched by 20,700 viewers, followed by ‘Romeo Weds Heer’ at 20:00 with 14,300 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Satyameva Jayate’ at 15:30 pulled in 11,300 viewers, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ at 20:00 with 5,000 viewers.
