Overnights: Star Plus continues to lead on Tuesday in UK

Despite stiff competition from Sony Entertainment Television, Star Plus remained firm as the UK’s No.1 Asian TV broadcaster on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus led with a share of 0.17%, followed by Sony TV with 0.14%, New Vision TV with 0.10%, Hum TV with 0.07%, Geo TV, Sony SAB TV with 0.06%, Colors, Colors Rishtey and Sony MAX with 0.04%, Star Bharat, Dunya News and ZEE TV with 0.03% and PTC Punjabi and ARY Family with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ biggest shows on Tuesday were ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, which stayed top with an audience of 58,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 45,600 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 41,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 36,700 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 35,400 viewers, ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 26,500 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 25,000 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 23,300 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ topped ratings with 53,000 viewers, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:45 with 36,500 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 35,700 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 33,000 viewers. ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ raise to 29,100 viewers. New show ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ dropped to just 1,000 viewers at 20:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Bharam’ at 22:00 led with 27,000 viewers, followed by ‘De Ijaazat Jo Tu’ at 21:00 with 24,600 viewers and ‘Mannchalay’ at 18:30 with 13,500 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Bharosa’ at 21:00 was top show with 15,900 viewers, followed by ‘Darr Khuda Say’ at 20:00 with 13,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Silsila’ got a huge surge with 30,700 viewers at 22:30 – making it the leading show in its time slot. New show ‘Bahu Begum’ fetched 7,200 viewers for its repeat at 00:30.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ delivered 15,000 viewers at 18:30.
