Overnights: Star Plus continues lead on Saturday

Star Plus’ new strategy to extend its weekday fictions to Saturday nights is paying dividends, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The channel ruled the overall ratings during the primetime schedule with ‘Meri Bhabhi’ at 20:00 grabbing the biggest viewership. It pulled in 221,700 viewers – peaking at 256,100 viewers. The next big show was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 210,000 viewers and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ next with 158,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:20 raked in 37,800 viewers, while ‘India’s Got Talent’ was just behind with 37,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Aamne Saamne’ was top show with 25,700 viewers, while the reliable ‘Mera Naseeb’ could only muster in 1,400 viewers at 20:30.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top show with 32,600 viewers at 23:00.
