Overnights: Star Plus claims back lead on Sunday

After facing stiff competition from ‘Bigg Boss 8’ and ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ on Colors, Star Plus returned back to the top spot last night with its tweaked programming.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, new show ‘Private Investigator’ at 20:00 opened well with 101,600 viewers – peaking at 125,900 viewers. It pulled in three times the audience its predecessor ‘India’s Raw Star’ brought in over the past few weeks. ‘Airlines’ at 21:00 topped ratings on the channel with 135,600 viewers. The special edition celebrating ’21 Years Of Aap Ki Adalat’ at 22:00 raked in 71,300 viewers.

Hum TV Europe took second place amongst primetime viewing last night with ‘Digest Writer’ at 20:00, which pulled in 119,500 viewers, followed by’ Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ at 21:00 with 107,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ was top with 81,100 viewers, followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:15 with 43,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani fiction ‘Adhoori Aurat’ at 20:30 registered 6,500 viewers, followed by ‘Halla Bol’ at 21:30 with 5,700 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ remained top with 15,500 viewers at 22:00.
