Overnights: Star Plus bounces back at No.1 on Monday in UK

After a poor run in UK ratings over the past few days, Star Plus bounced back on Monday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel’s share was back up to 0.20% – giving its status back as the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel. The channel performed incredibly well during its daytime output on Monday, while its evening shows remained lower than usual.

‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was the top show with 66,100 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Veera’ (re-run) at 13:00 with 59,900 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 57,600 viewers and ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 45,400 viewers.

Hum TV continued to perform strongly with a share of 0.14%. The channel’s top shows were ‘Adhan-e-Isha’ with 60,100 viewers, followed by ‘Mausam’ at 21:30 with 59,900 viewers and ‘Chand Pe Dastak’ at 20:30 with 44,200 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television did well with a share of 0.06%. Its much publicised show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ at 20:30 was watched by an average 20,000 viewers.

Colors and Rishtey registered 0.03%. Colors’ new show ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 opened up with under 1,000 viewers. ‘Tu Aashiqui’ stayed top with 12,200 viewers at 20:30.

ZEE TV mustered in a share of 0.02%.
