Overnights: Star Plus accelerates ahead in Tuesday UK ratings

After a slow start on New Years Day in UK ratings, Star Plus accelerated ahead on Tuesday with impressive figures, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel clocked up a share of 0.28% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohababtein’ remaining the UK’s top show with 145,100 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Meri Durga’ at 18:30 with 82,300 viewers, ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 75,400 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 70,400 viewers.

Hum Masala was in second place with a share of 0.08%. The top shows on the channel were ‘Flavours’ at 12:30 with 30,100 viewers and ‘Handi’ at 21:00 with 25,800 viewers.

Hum TV was next with a share of 0.07%. The top shows on the channel were ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 35,800 viewers, followed by ‘Gumrah’ at 22:00 with 33,700 viewers and ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 30,300 viewers.

Colors was steady with a share of 0.03%. ‘Bigg Boss 11’ slipped to 29,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 27,700 viewers.

ZEE TV increased its share to 0.02%. Its top shows were ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 21:30 with 19,800 viewers, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ re-run at 22:00 with 14,500 viewers and ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ at 18:30 with 4,800 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television’s share also stood at 0.02% with ‘Mere Sai’ on top with 19,400 viewers.

Geo TV delivered a share of 0.02% with ‘Bedardi Saiyan’ at 21:00. It pulled in 7,500 viewers.
