Overnights: Star Gold takes No.1 spot on Sunday in UK

Star Gold replaced sister channel, Star Plus in UK ratings on Sunday, with a strong line-up of movies, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

With movies proving a big draw at weekends on Asian TV channels, Star Gold took supremacy with ‘Housefull 3’ topping the list with 32,500 viewers, followed by ‘Sholay’ with 18,000 viewers and ‘Golmaal Again’ with 14,400 viewers. Star Gold delivered an impressive share of 0.11%.

Star Plus’ Sunday woes continued with a measly share of 0.08% but still managed to take the No.2 position. Its top rated show on Sunday was the final of ‘India’s Next Superstars’ at 20:00 with 45,600 viewers.

Rishtey and Hum TV both clocked up a share of 0.04%, while Sony Entertainment and Colors registered 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.02%.
