Overnights: Star Gold surges on Wednesday & Star Plus on Thursday

With a delay in UK overnight TV ratings being delayed, BizAsiaLive.com brings readers the updates from Wednesday 22nd November and Thursday 23rd November 2017. Ratings for Friday 25th November are also delayed, which will released later today.

Wednesday 22nd November
Star Gold emerged was close in overtaking Star Plus in UK ratings on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Interestingly, a small comedy movie ‘Sunshine Music Tours and Travels’ proved a raging success for the channel on Wednesday. It attracted a huge 29,900 viewers at 11:30, overtaking films like ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ with 24,100 viewers and ‘Na Tum Jano Na Hum’ at 08:15 with 23,000 viewers. The channel’s overall share stood at 0.15%.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 attracted 119,600 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 90,700 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 60,000 viewers. The channel’s share stood at 0.19%.

Colors was next with a share of 0.05%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

Hum TV remained top in Pakistani television ratings with a share of 0.11%. The biggest show on the channel was ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 29,400 viewers.

Hum Masala raked in a share of 0.05%, while Geo TV delivered 0.02%.

Thursday 23rd November
Star Plus distanced itself from rival channels on Thursday by clocking up a share of nearly 0.30%, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel’s top show remained ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 143,100 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 107,200 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 102,600 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Tarka’ at 20:00 delivered 32,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mehboob’s Kitchen’ at 11:00 with 23,400 viewers and ‘Evening With Shireen’ at 17:00 with 21,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Thori Si Wafa’ at 19:30 fetched 44,400 viewers, followed by ‘Naseebon Jali’ at 19:00 with 36,400 viewers and ‘Daldal’ at 20:00 with 34,500 viewers.

On Star Gold, ‘Jolly LLB’ at 17:30 raked in 18,200 viewers, followed by ‘Badlapur Boys’ at 15:00 with 15,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 stayed top with 33,900 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 29,400 viewers and ‘Shakti’ with 13,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Sawera’ led ratings with 20,100 viewers at 14:30. ‘Yaar-e-Bewafa’ at 20:00 attracted 19,200 viewers and ‘Bedardi Saiyan’ at 16:00 with 9,500 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television clocked up a share of 0.03%, followed by ZEE TV with 0.02%.
