Overnights: Star Gold stays high on Sunday in UK

Star Gold thrashed all Asian TV channels in UK ratings on Sunday with its IPL 2019 coverage, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold UK delivered a share of 0.29%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.08%, Hum TV with 0.07%, Star Plus with 0.06%, New Vision TV and Colors with 0.05%, Sony MAX 2 with 0.04%, ZEE TV with 0.03% and Geo TV with 0.01%.

Star Gold’s coverage of IPL 2019 match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders was watched by 66,400 viewers at 15:20. Earlier in the day, Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings pulled in 56,100 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 topped ratings with 56,700 viewers, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 27,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Veera’ re-run was top with 28,200 viewers. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ re-run at 14:30 was watched by 27,300 viewers. During evening, ‘Mid-Wicket Tales’ at 19:00 pulled in 14,900 viewers and ‘Divya Drishti’ at 22:00 with 14,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ghundi’ topped ratings with 18,400 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Madiha Maliha’ repeat at 16:00 with 17,200 viewers and the original episode at 21:00 with 15,300 viewers.

On Colors, UK recorded show ‘Colors Ke Sang Antakshari Ke Rang’ was most watched with 18,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Rising Star’ at 21:00 with 17,500 viewers.
