Star Gold remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Monday with its Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) coverage, while other channels stagnated, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Star Gold’s share stood at 0.21%, followed by Sony TV with 0.11%, Star Plus with 0.10%, New Vision TV with 0.08%, Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Sony SAB TV with 0.04%, Hum TV, Geo TV and Colors with 0.03% and ZEE TV slumped to 0.01%.
Star Gold’s coverage of the IPL 2019 on Monday between Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals was watched by 53,600 viewers – peaking at 76,100 viewers.
Sony TV’s top attractions were ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 52,900 viewers, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 37,900 viewers, ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 35,000 viewers and ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 30,000 viewers.
Star Plus’ biggest shows were ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 40,900 viewers, followed by ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 39,600 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 37,700 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 21,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 18,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 17,900 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Inkaar’ was top show with 15,900 viewers, followed by ‘Alvida’ at 21:00 with 12,500 viewers.
On Geo TV, ‘Seerat’ was watched by 16,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai’ at 22:00 with 14,700 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 pulled in 13,900 viewers, followed by ‘Gathbandhan’ at 21:00 with 11,100 viewers.
