Star Gold UK triumphed in UK ratings with its Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) coverage on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The channel’s share was up to 0.16%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.13%, Star Plus with 0.11%, Hum TV with 0.08%, Sony MAX 2 and New Vision TV with 0.05%, Colors Rishtey and Geo TV with 0.04%, Star Bharat with 0.03%, ZEE TV and Hum Masala with 0.02% and Colors with 0.01%.
Friday’s IPL 2019 match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians attracted 51,000 viewers to Star Gold at 15:20. The repeat telecast was watched by 8,800 viewers at 19:15. The highlights package at 23:00 on Star Plus pulled in 3,100 viewers.
On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ was watched by 39,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Best of Crime Patrol’ at midnight with 35,200 viewers, ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 35,100 viewers and ‘Maayke’ at 20:30 with 31,100 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 was top show with 44,300 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 39,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 37,800 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 28,700 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 22,800 viewers, ‘Winter Sun’ at 23:30 with 21,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 19,900 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Jaal’ at 21:00 delivered 35,600 viewers, followed by ‘Baandi’ at 20:00 with 28,300 viewers and ‘Baandi’ repeat at 17:00 with 18,800 viewers.
On Geo TV, ‘Saibaan’ was top show with 21,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yarian’ repeat with 13,300 viewers at 18:00.
On ZEE TV, ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ at 21:30 led with 14,000 viewers, followed by ‘Man Mohini’ with 12,800 viewers at 22:00 and ‘Punar Vivah’ with 7,700 viewers at 14:00.
On Colors, ‘Sitaara’ at 23:00 topped ratings with 6,500 viewers.
