Overnights: Star Gold & Star Plus triumph on Saturday in UK

Star Gold and Star Plus dominated UK ratings on Saturday, with strong performances by three films and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold was top broadcaster with a share of 0.13%, followed by Star Plus with 0.09%, Sony TV with 0.08%, Sony MAX with 0.07%, ZEE Cinema with 0.06%, Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, ZEE TV and Aaj Tak with 0.04%, BritAsia TV, ARY Family, Colors and Colors Cineplex with 0.03%, Hum TV, Hum Masala, New Vision TV, B4U Music and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%, Geo TV, B4U Movies, NDTV 24×7, Republic Bharat and PTC Punjabi with 0.01%.

On Star Gold, ‘Mardaani 2’ was watched by 29,600 viewers at 21:00 – making it the No.1 movie across all Asian TV networks. ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’ pulled in 25,000 viewers at 12:15 and ‘2 States’ at 15:15 pulled in 18,900 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ was No.1 show on TV last night with 75,200 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 57,800 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 43,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 28,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 21,900 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 4,900 viewers.

On Sony TV, fresh episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ pulled in 28,200 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘India’s Best Dancer’ at 20:00 with 24,300 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 15:45 with 19,600 viewers.

On Sony MAX, premiere of ‘Malang’ was watched by 27,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ at 13:15 with 11,800 viewers and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ at 16:00 with 1,100 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Samrat & Co’ raked in 18,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Manmarziyan’ at 18:00 with 13,400 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Vicky Donor’ topped ratings with 13,500 viewers and ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:00 with 11,00 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made In India’ launched with 14,200 viewers at 21:30.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ continued to lead with 39,100 viewers, 38,100 viewers and 27,500 viewers at 21:30, 21:00 and 22:00 respectively. Earlier in the day, ‘Dharam Thi Gujarati’ also did well with 11,900 viewers at 17:00 and 11,300 viewers at 16:00.

On Hum TV, ‘Bakra Impossible’ raked in 11,900 viewers at 15:00, followed by movie ‘Bin Roye’ at 16:00 with 7,000 viewers.

On ARY Family, movie premiere ‘Parey Hut Love’ clocked up 7,000 viewers at 20:00.
