Overnights: Star Gold & Star Plus top Wednesday in UK


Star Gold emerged as the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster, along with sister channel, Star Plus on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold led with a share of 0.18%, followed by Star Plus with 0.15%, PTC Punjabi with 0.09%, Sony Entertainment Television and Colors with 0.08%, Hum TV with 0.07%, New Vision TV with 0.06%, ZEE Cinema with 0.04%, Star Bharat, ZEE TV, Sony SAB TV and Samaa TV with 0.03%.

Star Gold’s coverage of India and West Indies cricket scored highly with an average 35,000 viewers at 13:15, with another 56,200 viewers from 15:15. The film ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’ also did well with 17,500 viewers at 17:45.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ stayed above the rest with 80,400 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 73,700 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 57,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 55,800 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 46,500 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 28,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 14,700 viewers, ‘Namah’ at 18:30 with 14,500 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 12,800 viewers and ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 5,900 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 fetched 38,100 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 21,900 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 20,900 viewers. ‘Beyhadh 2’ climbed to 15,300 viewers at 21:00.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ attracted 52,300 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 22,900 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 21,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Yeh Dil Mera’ topped ratings with 48,900 viewers at 20:00, followed y ‘Tum Mere He Rehna’ at 21:00 with 26,400 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ was watched by 25,900 viewers.
