Overnights: Star Gold & Star Plus lead Friday’s ratings in UK


The ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) kept Star Gold high in UK ratings on Friday, while sister channel, Star Plus pushed its way back at No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold’s share was at 0.18%, followed by Star Plus with 0.14%, Sony Entertainment Television and PTC Punjabi with 0.08%, New Vision TV with 0.06%, Hum TV with 0.05%, ZEE TV with 0.04%, Geo TV with 0.03% and Colors with 0.01%.

Star Gold’s coverage of IPL 2019 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore was watched by 34,300 viewers. The repeat at 19:15 pulled in 18,900 viewers. The 30-minutes highlights package at 23:00 raked in 12,400 viewers on Star Plus.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 attracted 72,600 viewers, followed by ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 63,600 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 39,600 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 26,700 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 24,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 24,000 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 15,500 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 led with 30,100 viewers, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 29,700 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 19,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Jaal’ at 21:00 was watched by 37,300 viewers, followed by ‘Baandi’ at 20:00 with 21,200 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Punar Vivah’ at 13:00 pulled in 12,000 viewers, followed by ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ repeat at 15:30 with 10,000 viewers and ‘Ye Teri Galiyaan’ at 19:30 with 9,600 viewers.
