Overnights: Star Bharat & Sony MAX share No.1 spot on Sunday in UK

Star Bharat and Sony MAX emerged as the No.1 Asian TV broadcasters in a rare victory in UK ratings on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The two channels had a marginal lead with a share of 0.07%, closely followed behind by Star Plus, Sony Entertainment Television and New Vision TV with 0.06%, Hum TV, Sony SAB TV and Colors Cineplex with 0.05%, Colors and B4U Movies with 0.04%, Star Gold, Geo TV, NDTV 24×7 and ZEE TV with 0.03%, ZEE Cinema, Dunya News, ABP News, Aaj Tak, ARY Family and Colors Rishtey with 0.02%.

Star Bharat’s top attractions on Sunday were ‘Savdhaan India’ at 21:00 with 31,700 viewers, followed by movie ‘Kalank’ (pictured) at 15:30 with 17,100 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘PK’ (pictured) led with 25,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Pagalpanti’ at 17:00 with 9,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, movie ‘War’ at 21:00 was watched by 14,000 viewers, followed by ‘Main Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki’ at 15:00 with 13,300 viewers, ‘MasterChef India’ at 19:00 with 10,500 viewers and ‘Nach Baliye’ at 20:00 with 7,200 viewers.

On Sony TV, ’10 Ka Dum’ re-run led with 40,200 viewers at 23:00, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at midnight with 19,500 viewers and the 01:00 episode with 11,700 viewers. Earlier in the evening, ‘India’s Best Dancer’ pulled in 1,800 viewers at 20:00 and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 3,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sabaat’ at 20:00 raked in 35,400 viewers, followed by ‘Tarap’ at 22:00 with 18,000 viewers and ‘Mere Qatil Mere Dildar’ at 21:00 with 17,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Makafat’ was watched by 15,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Munafiq’ at 19:00 with 11,000 viewers and ‘Meherposh’ at 22:00 with 9,500 viewers.
