Overnights: SPA 2015 & ‘The Voice’ lead Sunday in UK

Star Parivaar Awards 2015 ruled UK ratings on Sunday night and ‘The Voice India’ gave &TV record viewership, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

On Star Plus, Star Parivaar Awards 2015 at 19:00 pulled in 125,700 viewers – peaking at 174,700 viewers, followed by ‘Nach Baliye 7’ at 22:00 with 45,300 viewers. Star Parivaar Awards – Red Carpet at 18:30 was watched by 35,500 viewers and ‘Amul – Taste Of India’ at 17:30 raked in 30,500 viewers.

On &TV, ‘The Voice India’ brought in record viewership for the channel with 70,300 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 90,800 viewers. This is the first time a non-film item on the channel has brought in an audience of this number. It was the most watched show on UK Asian television after Star Plus. ‘Killerr Karaoke’ at 22:00 pulled in 12,700 viewers, while ‘Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi’ at 20:00 got 3,500 viewers. Film ‘Vivaah’ at 11:30 drew in 3,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘India’s Got Talent’ at 21:00 delivered 39,100 viewers, followed by ‘Desi Beat’ at 19:30 with 31,100 viewers and ‘Farah Ki Dawat’ at 20:00 with 29,400 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie premiere ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ at 16:00 pulled in 17,800 viewers, while the repeat at 21:30 could only manage 5,200 viewers. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ at 12:30 was watched by 7,500 viewers. ‘Hansi Hi Hansi Mil Toh Lein’ at 19:00 raked in 3,600 viewers.

On Zing, movie ‘Kisna’ at 20:30 registered 24,000 viewers, followed by ‘Snack Attack – Firangi Twist’ at 18:30 with 15,000 viewers and ‘Spirits Of India’ at 19:00 with 5,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mera Naseeb’ at 21:00 did well with 58,100 viewers, followed by ‘Nikkah’ at 20:00 with 45,600 viewers and ‘Kitna Sataty Ho’ at 22:00 with 22,200 viewers.
