Overnights: Sony TV topples Star Plus from top on Saturday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television emerged as the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster in UK ratings on Saturday, followed closely by Star Plus, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV’s share stood at 0.12%, followed by Star Plus with 0.09%, Zing and Colors with 0.07%, Geo TV with 0.05%, Sony TV with 0.04% and Hum TV with 0.03%. ZEE TV remained low with 0.02%.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions on Saturday were ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 59,800 viewers, followed by ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 with 26,000 viewers at 20:00 and repeat of the dance show at 09:30 with 16,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Dance+ 4’ finale led ratings with 39,400 viewers followed by ‘Krishna Chali London – Maha Episode’ at 18:00 with 21,900 viewers and repeat of ‘Koffee With Karan’ at 19:00 with 12,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatrn Ke Khiladi’ led with 32,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by the repeat of the show at 18:00 with 29,100 viewers and ‘Desi Beat’ at 19:30 with 15,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Khaani’ was watched by 25,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Shareef Show’ at 19:00 with 25,000 viewers and ‘Khaani’ at 21:00 with 21,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ at 20:00 pulled in 15,400 viewers, followed by ‘The Afternoon Show’ at 19:00 with 7,100 viewers and ‘Tu Ishq Hai’ repeat at 11:00 with 6,100 viewers. Hum Style Awards at 21:00 raked in 3,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ at 21:30 topped ratings with 9,400 viewers, followed by ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 19:00 with 8,000 viewers and film ‘Commando’ at 15:30 raked in 5,800 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, film ‘Deewana’ at 13:00 delivered 17,200 viewers.

On Star Gold, movie ‘High Jack’ at 19:00 was watched by 17,000 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘PK’ at 20:00 delivered 11,200 viewers.
