Overnights: Sony TV thrashes rivals with a whopping share on Saturday

Sony TV annihilated rivals in UK ratings on Saturday with over 120k viewers tuning into ‘Indian Idol 12’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.24%, well ahead of competition, with Utsav Plus and Colors at No.2 raking in 0.12%, PTC Punjabi with 0.10%, ATN Bangla with 0.06%, Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Hum TV with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

‘Indian Idol 12’ was the biggest show in the UK on Saturday with 123,700 viewers tuning into Sony TV at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 22:00 with 69,600 viewers.

Utsav Plus’ top attractions were ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 89,000 viewers, followed by ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ at 18:30 with 53,000 viewers, ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’ at 21:00 with 25,700 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 24,400 viewers.

Colors’ top show on Saturday was ‘Bigg Boss 14’ at 21:30 with 81,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, repeat of ‘Mushk’ topped ratings with 10,800 viewers at 17:00, followed by ‘Qaid-e-Tanhai’ with 10,300 viewers at 21:00.
