Overnights: Sony TV thrashes rivals on Sunday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television emerged as the leading Asian TV channel in UK ratings on Sunday, leaving rivals well behind, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV’s share stood at 0.13%, followed by Colors with 0.07%, Star Plus, Hum TV and New Vision TV with 0.06%, Sony MAX with 0.05%, ARY Family, Geo TV, Colors Rishtey and PTC Punjabi with 0.04% and ZEE TV with just 0.01%.

The biggest attractions on Sony TV were ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ featuring superstar Rekha, with 49,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 32,000 viewers and repeat at 23:00 with 8,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ was watched by 30,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by Filmfare Awards 2019 with 9,100 viewers at 13:00 and ‘Colors Ke Sang Antakshari Ke Rang’ at 19:30 with 5,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, cookery show ‘Mummy Ka Magic’ led with 16,600 viewers, followed by movie ‘Total Dhamaal’ at 13:00 with 14,800 viewers and ‘Karnaame Komolika Kay’ with 13,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Suno Chanda’ led with 52,400 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Anaa’ at 19:30 with 8,800 viewers and ‘Iftaar Package’ at 21:00 with 8,400 viewers.

On ARY Family, ‘Jeeto Pakistan’ at 21:00 stayed high with 41,500 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 topped with 3,600 viewers.
