Overnights: Sony TV stays top on Tuesday; Aaj Tak takes No.2 in UK

Sony Entertainment Television continued to reign in UK ratings on Tuesday, while Aaj Tak saw a huge jump, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.15%, followed by Aaj Tak with 0.09%, Star Plus and B4U Movies with 0.07%, New Vision TV with 0.06%, Colors, NDTV 24×7 and Sony MAX 2 with 0.04%, Hum TV, Republic Bharat and Colors Rishtey with 0.03%, Star Gold, ZEE Cinema, ABP News and Dunya News with 0.02%, ZEE TV, Sony SAB TV, Geo News and Geo TV with 0.01% and Star Bharat dropped to a zero share.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol 10’ re-run topped ratings with 52,200 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 37,300 viewers, ‘Best of The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 16:30 with 32,000 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 24,900 viewers.

On Aaj Tak, coverage of India and China’s clash, gave the channel a ratings surge with an average of 25,000 viewers between 16:30 and 19:00. It also witnessed another surge between 20:30 and 23:00 with and average of 22,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ led with 31,200 viewers at 15:30, followed by ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ at 21:00 with 29,500 viewers and ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ re-run at 17:30 with 8,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Mahabharat’ drew its biggest ratings with 37,300 viewers at 21:00.

On Hum TV, ‘Kashf’ was watched by 44,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Tera Yahan Ko Nahi’ at 17:00 and 22:00 with 5,500 viewers and 3,700 viewers respectively.

On ZEE TV, ZEE News bulletin at 07:00 pulled in 5,500 viewers.
