Overnights: Sony TV stays top on Friday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV broadcaster on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The popular channel delivered a share of 0.16%, followed by Star Plus with 0.11%, Star Gold and Colors with 0.08%, Geo News and BritAsia TV with 0.06%, Hum TV with 0.05%, New Vision TV, Sony MAX and ZEE Cinema with 0.04%, Geo TV, Colors Rishtey, ZEE TV, Star Bharat and Sony SAB TV with 0.03%.

Sony TV led with ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 46,900 viewers, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 46,400 viewers, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’ at 21:00 with 37,900 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at midnight with 28,500 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 27,600 viewers.

Star Plus’ biggest attractions were ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 42,300 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 42,100 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 35,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 34,500 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 30,600 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 28,800 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:00 with 16,200 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 15,800 viewers.

On Star Gold, live cricket between India and South Africa gave the channel a surge with an average 15,000 viewers tuning in during daytime hours.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ was watched by 44,000 viewers at 21:00.

On Hum TV, ‘Ishq Zeh-e-Naseeb’ led with 26,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Jaal’ at 21:00 with 21,100 viewers.
