Overnights: Sony TV stays firm post ‘KBC 10’ on Tuesday in UK
Sony Entertainment Television remained strong in UK ratings on Tuesday, with the absence of its ratings puller gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Last night was the first night without the Amitabh Bachchan show. However, its two fictions ‘Patiala Babes’ and ‘Ladies Special’ that took over the 21:00 – 22:00 slot did very well. The two shows delivered 41,400 viewers and 41,300 viewers respectively. Other shows on the channel also performed well with ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 and 23:00 bringing in 19,800 viewers and 19,700 viewers respectively. Despite this, Sony TV slipped to third place, falling behind Star Plus and Colors.

Star Plus led UK ratings but did see a significant fall in its share from 0.24% on Monday to 0.16% on Tuesday. The channel’s biggest shows on Tuesday were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 133,400 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 78,300 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 73,500 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 63,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 63,100 viewers and ‘Nazar’ at 22:00 with 31,500 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 23,900 viewers. ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ dropped to a record low of 5,800 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ was top show with 46,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Datsaan-e-Mohabbat’ at 20:30 with 36,500 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 26,800 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Lamhay’ drew in 15,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Mann Mayal’ at 21:00 with 13,700 viewers and ‘Bisaat-e-Dil’ at 22:00 with 10,400 viewers.
On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 was watched by 17,500 viewers, followed by ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 19:00 with 6,700 viewers.
