Overnights: Sony TV & Star Bharat climb in UK on Friday

Sony Entertainment Television and Star Bharat jumped in UK ratings on Friday, while Star Plus and Colors dominated the Indian entertainment channels, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Sony TV and Star Bharat delivered a share of 0.04% each. ‘Mere Sai’ remained Sony TV’s most watched show with 30,200 viewers at 19:30. On Star Bharat, ‘Jiji Maa’ at 19:30 continued to perform well with 22,500 viewers.

Star Plus stayed strong with a share of 0.24%. Its top show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 127,900 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 112,400 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 89,500 viewers.

Colors also performed well with a share of 0.05%. ‘Bigg Boss 11’ fetched 46,400 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 22:30 with 30,600 viewers and ‘Shani’ at 23:00 with 19,800 viewers.

Hum TV remained the UK’s most watched Pakistani channel with a share of 0.09%. It was also No.2 overall, behind Star Plus. The channel’s top show on Friday was ‘Neelum Kinaray’ at 21:00 with 49,700 viewers, followed by ‘Thori Si Wafa’ at 19:30 with 29,500 viewers and ‘Oh Rungreza’ at 20:00 with 20,500 viewers.

Hum Masala also did well with a share of 0.06% and its top show ‘Tarka’ at 20:00 pulling in 30,300 viewers.

ZEE TV stayed low with a share of 0.01% with ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 21:30 raking in 12,000 viewers.
