Sony Entertainment Television overtook all rivals on Saturday to clinch the No.1 position in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The broadcaster soared with a share of 0.18%, while IPL 2019 broadcaster Star Gold settled for second place with 0.14%, Geo TV with 0.08%, Star Plus with 0.07%, Hum TV with 0.06%, Colors with 0.05%, Sony MAX with 0.04%, Star Bharat and ARY Family with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.
Sony TV’s biggest highlights were ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ featuring guests Karan Johar and Kajol (pictured), at 21:30 with 56,200 viewers, followed by ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 with 55,500 viewers and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 23:00 with 23,700 viewers.
Star Gold’s IPL 2019 coverage of yesterday’s match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad was watched by 59,700 viewers.
On Geo TV, ‘Saibaan’ repeat at 14:00 delivered 35,400 viewers, followed by movie ‘Wrong No’ at 21:00 with around 12,000 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘The Voice’ repeat at 10:00 pulled in 22,500 viewers, followed by ‘The Voice Extra Special’ at 22:30 with 16,300 viewers and ‘The Voice’ at 20:00 with 10,500 viewers. ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 pulled in 6,900 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ at 20:00 was top Pakistani show with 40,700 viewers, followed by ‘Madiha Malhia’ at 21:00 with 18,300 viewers.
On ARY Family, ‘Cheekh’ raked in 30,000 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ topped ratings with 23,600 viewers.
On ZEE TV, ‘Out & About’ led with 9,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 with 5,200 viewers.
