Overnights: Sony TV returns to No.1 with ‘Indian Idol’

Sony TV emerged as the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Indian Idol 12’ was top the show with 85,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 50,100 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 19:00 with 26,300 viewers.

Utsav Plus also did well with ‘Anupamaa’ on top with 113,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ at 18:30 with 61,000 viewers and ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’ at 21:00 with 46,900 viewers.

The first episode of ‘Dance Deewane’ on Colors opened up with 19,700 viewers.

ZEE TV’s ‘Indian Pro Music League’ was watched by 14,000 viewers at 19:00. The earlier repeat of the Friday launch episode also did well with 18,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, repeat of ‘Raqs-e-Bismil’ led with 14,900 viewers.
