Overnights: Sony TV leads on Tuesday in UK; Star Plus closes-in

Sony TV continued to lead in UK ratings on Tuesday, while Star Plus increased its share on the back of fresh episodes of its originals returning, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.17%, followed by Star Plus with 0.12%, New Vision TV with 0.11%, Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Republic Bharat, Hum TV, NDTV 24×7 and Colors with 0.04%, Star Gold, Sony MAX 2, Colors Cineplex, Venus TV and Geo TV with 0.03%, Aaj Tak, ARY Family, Foodxp and Dunya News with 0.02%, ZEE TV with 0.01%.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol 11’ was watched by 73,000 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:15 with 35,600 viewers, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:45 with 22,800 viewers and ’10 Ka Dum’ at 20:00 with 22,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ led with 64,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 58,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 52,800 viewers, ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 28,600 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 25,900 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 21,500 viewers. Comedy shows ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ pulled in 6,500 viewers at 22:00 and ‘Naya Office Office’ at 22:30 with 1,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ pulled in 54,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 17,000 viewers and ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ at 21:00 with 10,600 viewers. New series ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ could only pull in 1,000 viewers at 19:00.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ pulled in 20,900 viewers, 20,700 viewers and 17,900 viewers at 21:00, 21:30 and 22:00 respectively. ‘Barrister Babu’ at 20:30 raked in 17,700 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ZEE News bulletin at 07:00 was top with 5,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kashf’ led with 30,200 viewers at 20:00.

On ARY Family, ‘Bikhray Moti’ topped ratings with 31,800 viewers at 20:00.

On Geo TV, ‘Raaz-e-Ulfat’ at 16:00 led with 21,800 viewers.
