Overnights: Sony TV leads on Saturday; ZEE TV surges to No.2 in UK

Sony TV remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Saturday, while ZEE TV surged to No.2 with a significant increase, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.15%, followed by ZEE TV with 0.11%, ZEE Cinema with 0.08%, Star Plus, Star Gold and New Vision TV with 0.07%, Colors Cineplex and Aaj Tak with 0.06%, Colors and B4U Movies with 0.05%, Star Bharat, Venus TV and Sony MAX with 0.04%, Colors Rishtey with 0.03%, Hum TV, Dunya News, Samaa TV, B4U Music, BritAsia TV, Sony SAB TV and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02% and Geo TV clocked up a share of zero.

On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ continued to outperform all other rival shows with an audience of 61,500 viewers at 21:45, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:30 with 29,800 viewers, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 18:30 with 29,500 viewers and ‘India’s Best Dancer’ at 20:00 with 27,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:00 topped ratings with 34,900 viewers, followed by movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ at 10:30 with 28,000 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ at 23:45 pulled in 20,000 viewers and ‘Commando 3’ at 18:00 with 17,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 raked in 51,900 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 16,700 viewers, ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 14,900 viewers and ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ at 21:00 with 13,000 viewers. Movie ‘Baby’ at 23:00 attracted 9,000 viewers.

On Star Gold, ‘Sholay’ at 14:00 was watched by 20,300 viewers, followed by ‘Judwaa 2’ at 18:15 with 9,600 viewers.

On Colors Cineplex, ‘Main Hoon Naa’ at 20:45 was watched by 21,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ topped ratings with 26,800 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Uttaran’ at 19:30 with 20,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Dil Ruba’ was watched by 19,600 viewers.
